Techniques for first place honors in the U.S. Department of Energy's
(BEEP Award: Best Energy Education Promotion) 50 state competition on

the film is a humanistic and "low key" approach to energy education
that appeals to Southwestern demographics.
New
Mexicans Rehabilitating Historic Buildings: Success Stories- Historic
Preservation Division and Cine Video Productions completed production
of a 35 minute video entitled: "New Mexicans Rehabilitating Historic
Buildings: Success Stories" The production called for regional travel
to cultural properties, interviewing the owners in a "This Old House"
format. The video not only takes the viewer on a tour of the historic
building, but it is designed to inform the audience of the process and
experience of Historic Preservation says producer/director Richard
Startzman of Cine Video. HPD carefully chose rehabilitation projects
that exemplified the process of "adaptive reuse" of historic buildings,
meaning, changing the intended use of a building while maintaining the
distinctive historic and architectural features. Funding for the
project came through HPD from the National Park Service. The video is
intended to be distributed to individuals interested in doing their own
historic preservation projects, builders, Realtors, mortgage bankers,
tax accountants and others. The video will be available from HPD for

The land is now being considered for National Park status. Directed and edited by Richard Startzman.
Lynn Pickard Political Campaign- 30 sec. Spots Cine Vision produced 2 spots for Lynn Pickard, Lynn received more actual votes than President Clinton, largely due to the TV spot.
